Patios

We install patios, so whether you have a small or large garden, we can accommodate. New builds rarely have a patio built in the garden, it usually consists of a small path in many ways. Patios can be installed in any part of the garden and adds to the character of the home, as well as minimalising the upkeep of the garden. So whether you need a patio outside your french doors or sliding doors to enable you to keep your foot wear dry and not let mud be walked in or an area to sit and relax in, read a book or have a family barbecue, a patio is an asset to any garden.

There are a wide array of patio materials to choose from, including size, design and colours.

Paths can also be laid, whether to the front or back door, around the side of the home or in the garden, there are plenty of options to choose from.

Not sure what material you would like, then we are there to offer advice as well as the installation.

Fencing

Fencing is available in all shapes and sizes, different heights and widths, panel or decorative, we supply and install all types of fencing. Posts and concrete plinths can also be supplied.

Advantages of having fencing installed:

Fencing is a cheaper alternative to building brick walls and is much quicker to erect.

Useful for keeping boundaries between properties.

Adds privacy to a garden, whether front, side or back of a property.

Enclosed gardens are a safer area for children to play in and to keep your family dog from wandering.

Fencing can also be painted with specific outdoor paint and is available in an array of colours; it also helps protect and prolong the life of the wooden fencing.

Turfing

Laying turf

Preparation is the key to turfing and is much the same process with scattering grass seed and artificial grass. We need to ensure the area is ready and suitable before the turf can be laid so we clear the area of any existing grass, weeds, stones and other debris. Rotivating (using a maching or digging) the area over, ensuring the correct depth and add any fertilizer or top soil if the existing soil is of poor quality.

Once the turf is carefully laid, we then water it to ensure the turf doesn't dry out and to encourage growth of the grass roots so it embeds into the ground.

Newly turfed lawns will need regular watering, especially if there is no rain, so a daily sprinkling of water will help promote growth and get the lawn established. Watering the new lawn will need to be accomplished every day, for about 2-4 weeks, but don't water log the grass as this will prevent the new growth from becoming established. It is best not to walk on the lawn or grassed area for 3-4 weeks to give the roots the chance to embed into the soil.
